Milk Can Be Pain Relief DrugsMilk is known to contain many nutrients that are beneficial to the body. Now increased by one more benefit of the milk can be used as a painkiller. Scientists have discovered that a glass of milk contains 20 substances which can be used as pain relievers, antibiotics and growth hormones. This is obtained after a team of researchers from Spain and Morocco analyzed 20 samples of cow's milk with goat milk and milk as well.


In this study researchers used a highly sensitive test. Obtained a number of chemicals from cow's milk, goat's milk and also can be used to treat various diseases in humans and animals.

The results detail the researchers found levels of niflumic acid in goat milk, whereas in breast milk contains traces of ibuprofen and naproxen, which is a painkiller and an antibiotic triclosan and some hormones.

Meanwhile in cow's milk contains anti-inflammatory drug niflumic acid, mefenamic acid and ketoprofen are commonly used as a painkiller in humans and animals.

In addition to these three chemicals, the researchers also found levels of the hormone 17-beta-estradiol which is a form of sex hormone estrogen. These results have been reported in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.

"This test is most sensitive compared with other types and can be used to check the health of other types of food," said Dr. Evaristo Ballesteros, chairman of the research from the University of Jaen in Spain, as quoted from Indiavision, Friday (15/07/2011).

Because it could not hurt to consume milk regularly. In addition to providing many health benefits, milk is also capable of relieving pain in the body.
